WebMeUp – All In One Online SEO Software For Your Website

I have tried a lot of online search engine optimization tools in the last few years to use with my WordPress blogs and small business websites and today I am going to share with you one of my new favorite tools. WebMeUp is an-all-in one online SEO software  that has been in development for the last year and I am excited to tell you that it is now available for us all to use. WebMeUp offers a huge range of features for everyone from the SEO beginner to the professional.

Features

If you are like me then you like to see how your website ranks, especially against competitors to see where you need to work on and how well they are doing. WebMeUp makes regular crawls and ranking checks of your website on websites such as Google and Alexa so that you can see how well you rank and view your ranking history. As a blogger I love this feature as I  rely on my blogs ranking high with Google in order to drive a lot of my traffic to my them. however I could see this being particularly useful for webmasters who need to be able to monitor their websites SEO progress.

Another important thing for me is to be able to see where backlinks are coming into my websites. The reason for this is that backlinks are key for your website to rank highly in search engines as a website with more high quality backlinks will often rank better. However a lot of the time when I try to find backlinks I often find that I am not told whether they are DoFollow or NoFollow. WebMeUp shows a list of all of the web pages that have links to my website but also I can see if they are DoFollow and the Google Page Rank of the web page this is linking to my website.

Getting Started

To get started with WebMeUp you can head over to their website and sign up for your free trial today. once you have signed up and confirmed your email address you can enter the URL of your website ( I used this website).  Once you enter your URL WebMeUp intelligently grabs a list of keywords relating to your website. You can add more keywords if you need to.

Once you have done this you go onto the Project Dashboard where you can see a load of information about your website including rankings, social media activity and any structure and content-related issues. I like to think of myself as a bit of an SEO expert but as you can see from the screenshot I found a load of areas where I needed to work on which I did not know about before. I can now see that I have a Google PR of 4 which I am happy with but I need to work on some of the content-related issues with this blog such as fixing broken links.

Conclusion

In my opinion WebMeUp has all the modules needed for the all-embracing software of its kind. I love how easy the software is to use and the fact that it is online is a bonus as I can access it from anywhere. The main bonus for me was being able to see how I am competing against my competitors and it will be interesting to see how WebMeUp develops over 2013.
